LOVE WHAT YOU DO
I've always had a passion for serving others and helping people feel beautiful, seen, and empowered—that’s why I became a hairstylist. But after rediscovering my love for photography, I decided to explore wedding photography, thanks to a dear friend of mine—my wedding photographer. Shortly after my own wedding, she needed a second shooter, and being the go-getter I am, I was eager to jump in. Little did I know, this would completely change my future!
The support and encouragement from friends who cheer you on and pray for your success is invaluable. It’s truly a rare and precious gift. I found a stranger in a Facebook group who was looking for an assistant at her sessions. Taking a chance and wanting to learn, I decided to apply—and to my surprise, she gave me a shot. She has since become a close friend, and I’m incredibly grateful for her presence in my life.
In 2023, I landed an associate shooter role with a company that was looking for help at an upcoming wedding. I was shocked—so many people had applied, but once again, God showed up and opened that door for me. In 2024, I had the honor of shooting over 30 weddings, 25 of which were for the very company that took a chance on me. It’s been a whirlwind of growth!
Along the way, I’ve learned so much from being behind the camera, and I’m deeply thankful for all the incredible people who have played a part in my journey. But the journey isn’t over yet! I’ve recently added video to my skill set. How did I get here? Well, while I’m comfortable in wedding photography, I believe growth happens when we push ourselves beyond our comfort zones. I truly feel that God is calling me to use my gifts in video. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then what is a video worth?
